Justin Anderson (he/him) is a legal assistant at UnCommon Law, supporting Becca Berry, Supervising Attorney for In-Prison Programs, with administration, legal research, and client relations.
Justin contributes to the Pathways to Parole Success program by organizing and participating in workshops in California prisons, helping individuals understand their rights and navigate the parole process. He also takes part in legal workshops at the California State Prison in Lancaster. Additionally, he works with direct representation clients during legal visits, independent meetings, as well as handling case-related tasks.
Previously, Justin worked at Community Health Project Los Angeles, where he distributed harm reduction supplies, provided naloxone education, and pioneered the Empowerment Program offering participants barrier-free daily employment.
Justin is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Southern California’s Price School, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles.
